Marco Invernizzi’s trip is finalized. Dates are set and tickets have been purchased. Everyone is excited and awaiting his arrival. I promise it will be an educational and fun time for everyone. Since Marco will be here only a short time, I would like to stress to the clubs to pool together, so he can cover a lot of ground in a short period. If everything works out well and feedback is good, we will look into possibly bringing him back in the future for a longer period of time for all of the personal collections that he will not be able to get to this time. We will keep you posted on that. We have also arranged for Marco, on his days off and for a minimal fee, to style two trees, which I will supply. Before and after photographs will be taken for Golden Statement and, with his permission, we will possibly include a step-by-step procedure. My plan is to use both trees in the annual fundraiser for the Collection-South and the Collection-North, which usually takes place in early spring. So, some lucky winner will be taking home the masterpiece! Sounds good? For further details on cost and times, please contact your area representative and he/she will assist you in any way that they can. I urge all of you to participate, if possible, to ensure that future visits will continue to be sponsored by GSBF so that all bonsai enthusiasts can benefit from the knowledge shared. I welcome any suggestions or feedback. I can be reached by email at uderose@attglobal.net, by mail at 1339 E. Katella Ave., #181, Orange, CA 92867, or by telephone at 714-637-4592.
