No Friday Night Meeting This Month, Special Saturday Meeting August 14th House Tour and Potluck BBQ -- August 14, 2004 August is one of the months Kusamura sets aside a time to be social rather than have formal meeting. For the last few years we have had bus tours up to the Santa Rosa area. This year to be different, we have scheduled a house tour that will give you the chance to see the collections of four of the club members. This is ONLY open to regular members, not visitors. To learn more about this event consult the newsletter mailed to members. Trees of Huangshan, China The trees of Huangshan, China are famous for their beauty. You'll notice that many of the trees growing naturally on the mountainsides look like bonsai -- perhaps they were the original inspiration for bonsai styling. One of our club members recently visited Huangshan and took some photos to share.
