Soil Recipes -- Our currently recommended soil recipes -- a good starting point if you live on the west side of the SF Bay area (e.g., Menlo Park to San Jose).

Mammoth Bazaar -- Every February Golden State Bonsai Federation holds a large fundraiser at the Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt - Garden Center, Oakland. You can find just about anything here -- trees, pots, tools.
