Stolen Bonsai Links

A stolen bonsai belongs to the person it was stolen from. If you purchase a stolen bonsai, and the owner later recognizes it, it must be returned to him. A photograph and police report are generally sufficient proof for a court of law to enforce this. It is up to the purchaser to ensure that a bonsai belongs to the person he buys it from. If you suspect that a bonsai offered for sale was stolen, please report it to your local law enforcement authority.
