Bonsai discussion pages are a great way to converse and trade ideas about bonsai. Many of the sites will let you post pictures for constructive criticism, and have virtual bonsai artists to make something from hard to style stock. Most of the discussion pages have very easy formats to learn, and the forums have very knowledgeable people that reside there.

This is without a doubt the friendliest site on the net. Great, easy to navigate site, and very helpful people.

This forum is for discussion only. You can link a photo there, but they have a photo section for uploading photos to get your point across. Lively debate on this one.

A site dedicated to photos. You have to post a photo to play on this page. Very knowledgeable people here. Walter Pall hangs out here, as well as Colin Lewis, Ernie Kuo and many Europeans.

A site devoted to the art of bonsai design. This site, designed and moderated by Andy Rutledge, is a pay per view site, but the discussion pages are free. Annual membership is 20.00 per year. Articles are professionally written and include all the artists from Europe, USA, and Asia.

A site dedicated to the beginning hobbyist. A great FAQ, as well as do's and don'ts. A great plant classifier as well. A site chock full of useful information.
