The Fresno Bonsai Society participates in collecting trips from around the state. Collecting yamadori (collected from the mountains) is a very exciting way to improve on the overall value of one's bonsai collection.
Bill Case has taken the FBS on some exciting trips to the Mojave Desert, with Harry Hirao, to collect the elusive California Juniper.
