TECHNIQUES MEETING 7-8 PM
Sandy Planting will demonstrate how to do an air layer.

MAIN MEETING 8-10 PM
The rock planting workshop was a great time to learn new techniques.

March Meeting
The program TBD.  We are looking for an outside speaker for this meeting.

April Meeting
SHOWTIME!
Bring the plants you want to show, plus your stands and accent plants/pieces.  We will have practice setups of formal display.  You can have a look-see to make sure you have everything you need.  Sometimes we trade pieces with each other.  It is important to start thinking about what plants you will show and what they need to be ready for show.  I know that BIB (Bay Island Bonsai) club members start working on their trees the day after their show, to be ready for next year.

POTTING PARTY
Will be Sunday March 5, 2006 at the Plantings.   The event lasts from 10 am thru 4 pm.  This is a good time to tune up your donations and to check your collection to see if there is anything else you might want to donate.  It is too late to pot any deciduous trees that have already popped out.  If you have any at that time that you are willing to donate, please bring them to the potting party. Also consider helping with setup and tear down of this event.
