| Kusamura Potting Parties | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Members
gather at the Planting residence for a fun day potting and
styling plants that will be sold at the annual show. Members
are asked to contribute three trees to the show and can use
the potting parties to get pots, wire, and soil to create or
refine their trees. As well the club depends on the gracious
donations of members and friends to give large groups of
plants to the sale. We gather at the potting parties to work
on those donations and refine them for sale. It is a great
social time and learning time with the chance to work on
many different species of trees. Members then take these
trees home and care for them until April show day.
