7:00p.m. Meeting
Last month
Sandy
Planting
transplanted a larch group from a tray to a rock.
Everyone admired the result. Sandy is a master
group designer and this month she will show us how
she goes about it. Her material will be Korean
Hornbeams.
8:00p.m. Meeting
Bob
Gould,
who has made Satsuki Azaleas a specialty for many
years, recently graduated from Takemori Gondo's
advanced azalea school in Placerville. Bob will
give us a demonstration and advice featuring the
newest methods for repotting and otherwise managing
azaleas. We used to work on our azaleas just after
they bloomed, but March is now considered the best
time. Come and learn why!

Members Info
We will also have
access on Friday evening, April 25th, so that
members can deliver heir minimum of three donation
bonsai or high quality pots for pricing. Items may
be purchased as soon as they are priced.
Barbara
Murray
has kindly volunteered again to type identification
cards for all the trees in the show. These cards
add greatly to visitors' appreciation of the show.
Please help Barbara by delivering a complete list
of your show trees when you arrive at the show on
Saturday, April 26th. Record for each tree: (1) the
common name, (2) the botanical name if you know it,
and (3) the year that bonsai training was begun.
(Barbara will hunt up the botanical name if you
cannot supply it.) Thank you. Barbara for your
important service!
