We are still looking for a suitable new meeting place. Until we find this space we may be moving around a bit. Do pay attention to the newsletter. I promise to keep you updated!
We will meet at
Hillview Center in Los Altos. The address is 97 Hillview Ave. Room
number 16. See map below.

There will be no Techniques Meeting to allow time for the main program/workshop topic.
Ed Poggensee and Lonnie McCormick will conduct yet another workshop on black pine maintenance. If you recall, your board decided to go through an annual cycle of care for black pine bonsai and perhaps azalea bonsai.
Bring your black pines and tools for a hands on workshop on needle pulling and bud pruning.
Yamagami Event
On Sunday 10-23-05
Kusamura was featured at the Yamagmi Nursery mini show and
information booth. Thanks to all the members that
contributed in one way or the other.
Potting Party
There will be a potting party at
the Plantings on Sunday, November 13th at 10 am.
We will be working on junipers for the show sale as this is
a better time to do junipers than in January or February.
They will be healthier and sell better. Bring all the
junipers you are holding for the club. We will be taking an
inventory of what will be necessary for the next two potting
parties in January and February. Your participation is
requested.
The Plantings have hosted the potting parties for many years. We owe them not only a very large thank you, but we need to support them by coming early and staying late to help John with set up and clean up.
